Nº 02 — Our story

A house of cheese,
built on patience.

Hand affinage
Fig. 01 — Hand affinage, Roubaix cellars

Fromager is a maison de fromage in the heart of Prishtinë — a small room where the cheese of Europe meets Kosovo.

We work with artisan families in Normandy, Île-de-France, the Jura and the Swiss Alps. Every piece that reaches us has passed through careful hands — milk producers, cheesemakers and affineurs who mature it for weeks, months, sometimes years.

We don't sell online. We believe cheese is a conversation — something shared between seller and buyer, between the cut and the first taste. The visit to the shop is our favourite part of the day.
